1. Scope

This Policy explains how RoofnLand collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data through the Platform.

2. Information we collect

• You provide: name, contact details, property address, project details, account info, and (for agents/contractors) tax/onboarding info such as a W-9.
• Automatically: device, usage, and log data, and cookie/tracking data (see §5).
• Payments: card and bank details are collected and processed by our payment provider; RoofnLand does not store full payment-card numbers.
• From others: referral information submitted by an agent on your behalf.
• Property imagery: overhead, aerial, satellite, or exterior images of your property (and structures/land on it), which may be obtained by RoofnLand, an agent, or a contractor from licensed commercial imagery providers or their own tools, and which may be annotated to prepare your estimate.

3. How we use it

To provide coordination services, match and schedule contractors, process payments and commissions, communicate with you, provide support, ensure security, comply with law, and improve the Platform.

4. How we share it

• To coordinate your project: with the assigned contractor and, where relevant, the referring agent.
• Service providers: hosting, database, and payment processors that act on our behalf under contract.
• Legal/safety: when required by law or to protect rights and safety.
• Business transfers: in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
• We do not sell your personal data, and we do not sell sensitive personal data.

5. Cookies and tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies for functionality, security, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser. We honor recognized universal opt-out signals, including Global Privacy Control (GPC). [ Pair with a cookie banner that reflects actual site behavior. ]

6. Your Texas privacy rights

Depending on applicability, Texas residents may have rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (Tex. Bus. & Com. Code Ch. 541) to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of personal data, and to opt out of sale, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. RoofnLand does not sell personal or sensitive data. To exercise rights, contact privacy@roofnland.com; we will respond as required by law, and you may appeal a decision and, if needed, complain to the Texas Attorney General.

7. Other states

Residents of other states may have similar rights under their own laws; we honor applicable requests.

8. Children

The Platform is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13 (COPPA).

9. Data security

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we handle. No system is perfectly secure.

10. Retention

We keep personal data as long as needed for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations.
